Persona Non Grata

A brand I have created for Senior Thesis using the sideshow series I have been working on. The phrase "persona non grata" is Latin for "unwelcome person".

Eye don't like painting

Here are some eye studies I did a couple years back in acrylic. I don't think I've painted since, basically because I keep going back into any painting a million times before I can deem it finished. Something to get back into hopefully in the summer.

Freak Show

Bearded Lady, 11x14"
Just look at how special she is.
I am in the process of completing a series of freak portraits for one of my senior project classes. The Bearded Lady is the second of the series, following the uncanny Dog Boy.

Bipolar Tendencies

4 color silk screen, 14x21". I'm not so satisfied with how this one turned out, although it was fun messing around with so many transparent colors.

"Jesus Beans" Part II

Alas, completed. The longest comic I ever made. Each page is 11"x17". I couldn't stick with a consistent inking utensil. Most was inked with brush. My only big complaint is the lettering. By the last page, I think I got the hang of it for the most part.
I will be selling copies complete with colored cover art for a small fee. Ask me if you're interested.

Oh, Jager how you've erased my teenage mind.

Sadly enough, this is based on a true story; an autobiographical comic taken place in harder times. I partied too hard and fell off a roof. I've been wanting to create this for years and years. A year ago, I finally started, and one year later, completed. Here, I grant you 5 of 8 pages. Enjoy, please.

What happens next?! Do I survive the plunge of inebriation only to continue a self depricating, toxic and wasteful lifestyle? To find out, stay tuned for the final installment of "Jesus Beans"!

Round 2: FIGHT!

I've been a complete failure at updating this blog. So as long as you don't mind, allow me to give it a whirl once more.
I begin with some silk screens I created last fall.
