Asexual Frustration

16"x20"

Over the summer, James Heimer was so kind to invite me to be part of a propaganda art show he was curating. Although I had the concept down, and the initial drawing, I was unable to silkscreen the design in time. Better late than never, I suppose.

So my concept here is simple. Wouldn't the world's inhabitants be so much more productive if sexual attraction were nonexistent? The illustration above portrays an androgynous couple unable to display affection. The spores were added not just for their aesthetic value, but their asexual instincts. We could definitely learn a thing or two from these guys.
In no shape or form am I asexual, of course, but it's practical at least in theory.
